I’ll help with location ideas, timing, discreet coordination, and practical details before the day. During the proposal, I’ll stay in the background and capture the moment naturally. Afterwards, we’ll take relaxed engagement-style portraits so you can enjoy being newly engaged without feeling rushed.

Sintra & Cascais proposal packages
For couples dreaming of a proposal outside central Lisbon, I offer proposal sessions in Sintra, Cascais and nearby scenic locations such as Cabo da Roca, Praia da Ursa and Praia da Adraga. These packages include my travel from Lisbon, but your own transport and entrance tickets are not included.
60-minute classic
€420.00
A scenic proposal session in Sintra, Cascais or a nearby coastal location, followed by relaxed portraits afterwards. Includes 40 edited photos and planning support before the day.
90-minute story session
€480.00
An extended proposal experience with more time for different backdrops, a relaxed pace and a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine or non-alcoholic beverage. Includes 60 edited photos and planning support.
Shoots inside Parques de Sintra locations may require an additional €150 permit/logistics fee. Quinta da Regaleira does not allow commercial photo shoots, so I cannot offer proposal photography there.

Choose your preferred proposal package and share the details in the questionnaire, including your date, location ideas, timing, and anything special you have in mind.
2.I review the plan
Before confirming, I’ll check the location, timing, access, crowds, and logistics to make sure everything is realistic and suitable for a surprise proposal.
3. We plan the details
Once approved, we’ll confirm the exact meeting point, proposal spot, timing, and how I’ll discreetly recognise you on the day. Optional extras such as flowers or champagne can be discussed where available.
4.Proposal day
I’ll stay discreet before the proposal, capture the moment, and then guide you through relaxed portraits afterwards so you can enjoy being newly engaged. You'll receive a sneak peek on the day and the images (usually) within 48 hours.

Which proposal package should I choose?
The 30-minute Lisbon option is best if you mainly want the proposal moment and a few portraits afterwards. The 60-minute option gives us more time for relaxed portraits nearby. The 90-minute story session is best if you want a slower pace, more variety, and time to explore multiple beautiful backdrops after the proposal.
Do you help with proposal planning?
Yes. I can help with location ideas, timing, logistics, and practical details so everything feels as smooth as possible on the day. We’ll discuss your plans beforehand by email or WhatsApp, and I’ll help you choose a proposal spot that fits your relationship, comfort level, and travel plans.
Will you be hidden during the proposal?
Yes, as much as possible. I’ll arrive early, stay discreet, and capture the moment naturally as it happens. We’ll agree on the exact location, timing, and how I’ll recognise you beforehand, so you know what to expect without giving the surprise away. We can even agree on a hand signal, so I know the big moment is about to happen.
What happens after the proposal?
After the proposal, I’ll give you a little time to enjoy the moment together. Then we’ll take relaxed engagement-style portraits nearby. I’ll guide you naturally, so you don’t need to know how to pose.
Can you help arrange flowers or champagne?
Yes, where possible. Flowers, champagne, or non-alcoholic sparkling wine can sometimes be arranged depending on the location, timing, and availability. These extras are not included unless clearly stated in your package, and I’ll let you know what’s realistic for your chosen proposal spot.
Are entrance tickets or permits included?
No, entrance tickets and your own transport are not included. Shoots inside Parques de Sintra locations may require an additional €150 permit/logistics fee. Quinta da Regaleira does not allow commercial photo shoots, so I cannot offer proposal photography there.
What if the weather is bad?
If the weather looks bad, we’ll try to reschedule your session whenever possible. If the weather is very bad and we can’t find a suitable alternative during your stay, I may offer a refund instead.
How long does it take to receive the photos?
Most galleries are delivered within 2 days, although during busy periods delivery may take up to 7 days. Your edited images will be delivered in a private online gallery for easy download and sharing.
Do you photograph outside Lisbon?
Yes. I offer proposal photography in Sintra, Cascais, Cabo da Roca, Praia da Ursa, Praia da Adraga, and other nearby scenic locations. I’m also open to other locations in Portugal depending on the date, travel time, and logistics. For anything outside my listed proposal packages, please send a custom enquiry first so I can check what’s realistic. Please contact me for more information.
